Software development company Confluent came to Pinnacle tired of the uninspired designs of their booths from previous years. They were ready for our team to elevate their event presence—and we couldn’t wait to get started. For their booth at AWS re:Invent, we wanted to embody Confluent’s vision, “data in motion,” with a design emulating the powerful flow of information their platform provides. To start, we created “Waterfall”—a programmable, 3D, sculptural centerpiece—which flooded Confluent’s space with streams of data, cascading and fluxing through the center of their booth. Beneath the ambient LED lighting, a hospitality bar served coffee by day and happy hour drinks by night, and four demo stations immersed every guest into the flow of data. In a creative approach to lead capture, we designed a collaborative 3D art sculpture that evolved over the length of the show. Upon check in, attendees answered questions about their interests and demographics, then were invited to place a custom piece to build the sculpture.
Our booth was beautiful, and we absolutely crushed our signup goal.
