How far would you go for a lifetime supply of Subway? Would you get a footlong, permanent, tattoo? Subway wanted to generate widespread buzz about their new Subway Series, order-by-number menu, so we crafted an experience that got fans to taste Subway sandwiches in an unforgettable way. We partnered with Bad Apple Tattoo Parlor in Las Vegas to host a one-day block party where sandwich lovers could party all day with DJ Tambe, and nine super fans could get freshly inked for epic prizes—the grand prize being a lifetime supply of Subway. Live music, an interactive graffiti mural, airbrush face art, and a 360-degree selfie station kept fans vibing until the subs ran out. The event garnered thousands of news stories (including the Today Show, ABC News, the Late Night Show, and Yahoo News), over 40,000 social shares, and 2 billion impressions.
