Airbnb imagined an ambitious, city-spanning festival in the middle of downtown Los Angeles for their biennial Airbnb Open. The festival celebrates 20K+ Airbnb hosts from all around the world. Over the course of a week, attendees enjoyed engaging talks, organic local food, live performances, art installations and film screenings; all while connecting with peers, sponsor brands and the Airbnb community. Using our pre-fabricated and customizable Brand Blocks we created a two-story Oasis—a unique environment that included event registration, a bookstore, and 16 unique experiences that showcased Airbnb’s partner brands including Sonos, Delta, American Express, Stella Artois and Nest. This project was awarded Event Marketer’s Best Campaign of the Year as the ‘Grand Ex Award Winner.’
