As a joint venture between Sony and Honda, Sony Honda Mobility merges two iconic brands’ technologies and philosophies to create a new era of mobility. Their inaugural electric vehicle concept—AFEELA—pioneers an innovative driving experience centered around full customization and effortless connection. For their CES showcase, we helped our client create an exhibit that eliminated design noise to exude the canvas-like customizability of their groundbreaking prototype. Our teams opted for unique and authentic materials—including genuine brushed metal laminate; recycled, Japanese-proprietary textile; and high-end frosted acrylics—to embrace AFEELA’s subtle elegance and create a palpable connection between brand, product, and showcase. To help the main overhead display lights harmonize with the environment, we surrounded angular LED screens with custom, curved shrouds of tiles. Hands-on demos amplified excitement, as press were given access to the vehicle itself, and others explored a cutting-edge, in-car driving simulation. Overall, the immaculate space made a powerful impression among the entire tech community—captivating attendees and immersing all in the power of AFEELA.
